Why Social Media Marketing Is All About Quality Over Quantity

Myth:

""In order to succeed on social media, I must post every day on all platforms.""

Do you have to post regularly? Yes. Though posting solely for the sake of publishing — rather than for the purposes of teaching, connecting, or even selling – can frequently result in lower quality content.

Social media marketing isn't just about posting stuff online to be seen all day; it's also about posting pertinent content that speaks to your customers' needs, forges genuine connections with them, and defines the online character of your company.

Although you can post on social media every day, it's important to choose the right time to publish based on your audience and business.

Start by looking at the demographic information about your audience to determine the optimal times of day to publish on your sites and the days that work best.

Utilize the metrics that are already incorporated into the majority of social media platforms to your benefit. These analytics reveal the days and times that your audience is most engaged as well as the types of material that are connecting with them. You can create a strategy to entice your audience to visit your social media pages once you have a better understanding of how they interact with brands online and the times of day when they are most likely to do so.

Create content that addresses your audience's requirements and difficulties after determining who they are and what they are looking for.

Sales content shouldn't be the only focus of the material you produce, even while you want to develop interesting relationships that will lead to business. To increase trust and loyalty, you want to carry on the dialogue that your content started. Then, you want to make the case for why your audience should work with your company.

Finally, pick a tempo for your social media posting that you can stick to. Don't set that expectation if you know you won't have time to commit to posting 4-5 times a week. Choose a rhythm you feel comfortable with to stay in front of your audience. If you start with a defined tempo, your audience will expect you to maintain it.

You can build vibrant communities of people interested in your company and ultimately attract higher quality leads to your sales funnel by knowing your target, producing pertinent, high-quality content, and sticking to a regular posting schedule.
